International Museums: Prague Military Museum

The Prague Military Museum

This week we start a new feature at FirearmsTruth.com, International Museums. While many anti-gun types would like to see the history of guns completely destroyed, we think that firearms have a long and rich history that is as unique as anything else in museums. So each week we’ll offer a gallery of photos from some of the finest museums around the world. This week we begin we a look at the Prague Military Museum.

A variety of bayonets from around the world that were used by the Czech Legion during the First World War

A variety of Czech used long guns

A Czech Vz24 along with a Soviet PPSh-41 with stick magazine, both used by the Czech resistance

Some late World War II German "last ditch" small arms, including clones of the British Sten Gun

An impressive collection of military handguns used by the Czech military during the Interwar period

Some World War I era machineguns

More World War I era machine guns including an Austria-Hungary Schwarzlose Maschinengewehr Modell 05 (front), a Maxim (top right) and a Chauchat (top left)
