Royal Oak Arts Festival Bans Firearms

The question now raging in fashionable Royal Oak, Michigan is whether it the city can ban firearms at the Arts, EAst and Beats festival that will be held on the city streets. In Michigan, it is legal for those with concealed weapons permits to carry guns legally, but the ban would make it a crime to do so. The Royal Oak City Commission is meeting about this tonight (August 9, 2010).
