Not All Mayors Now Against Guns

We’ve been watching closely which large city mayors across America joined New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s controversial and highly charged “Mayors Against Illegal Guns.” This isn’t because FirearmsTruth is for “illegal guns,” but on the contrary we see the group as really being “Mayors Against Any Guns.” And now it is worth noting that at least one former large city mayor sees it the same way. WFAA.com reported that Bill White, a former Houston mayor, had already resigned from Mayors Against Illegal Guns. White is currently running for governor in Texas, and current Texas Governor Rick Perry has questioned exactly when White actually quit the group. We’ll leave that debate to the men in Texas, but it is nice to see that not all mayors are going along with Bloomberg’s farce.
