Mexican Consul: Guns a Problem for Mexico

Speaking at meeting of the Mexican American Business Chamber, Salvador de Lara showed he has some nerve. As the Mexican consol general in Atlanta he said that the guns and cash from the United States contribute to the drug-related violence in Mexico. This was reported by Global Atlanta.

While this is a tragedy, we must ask why Mexico is only complaining now? The nation hardly seemed to care when illegal aliens entered the United States from Mexico, or when drugs from Mexico came north. The cash flowing back to Mexico hardly seemed to matter. Perhaps Mexico should get their own house in order before blaming the United States.
