Mayor Bloomberg Goes Crying to Obama About Guns

New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg has shown his true colors again, and it is a wonder anyone believes that he is close to “red” as in a Republican. The New York Post offered this juicy piece about Mikey getting upset about how President Obama hasn’t stood up to guns:
“Bloomberg, generally considered a White House ally, put Obama on notice after he fired off a letter to the White House this month where he reportedly accused the president of dragging his feet when it comes to gun control, according to a report today.”
If even The New York Post is calling Bloomberg an Obama ally you know there is a problem! This biased news piece, which offered no counter opinion on the topic of gun rights, also included this passage:
“Bloomberg has been an ardent fighter for gun control, blaming illegal handguns smuggled into New York State for shootings that take place in the city. He has also taken on the National Rifle Association in the past.”
Of course we wouldn’t expect The Post to actually note that New York City has some of the most restrictive gun laws in the country, where even antiques must be registered. That would actually be too much like actually reporting.
