Liberal Blog Says Gun Stores Kill People

With a headline from the blog Mission Mission that says “Guns Don’t Kill People. Gun Stores That Sell Guns To People Who Kill People Kill People,” can you expect anything but bias? This post comes after High Bridge Arms hopes to reopen by year’s end. Clearly Mission Mission and the Northwest Bernal Alliance are so biased about guns that logic defines these liberal anti-gun zealots.

The blog posted an e-mail from the anti-gun Northwest Bernal Alliance, which included this passage:

“There have been several robberies at gunpoint right in our neighborhood and one recent hold up with a gun, at the Cancun restaurant right next to the High Bridge Arms Gun Store.”

If we are reading this correctly it says there was a hold up NEXT to the High Bridge Arms Gun Store, but nothing indicates that the gun was bought there? In other words, the store is being blamed for selling a similar item. We’d add that if San Francisco had more responsible gun laws, maybe these people wouldn’t have to fear being robbed since they could defend themselves.

The e-mail, and the blog noted that High Bridge Arms Gun Store is the ONLY gun shop in San Francisco, and yet there is still gun crime. Shouldn’t that be proof that criminals will find a way to obtain illegal guns?

But finally, we find it irresponsible for the blog Mission Mission to post a headline suggesting that the store sells guns that kill people. There isn’t a single mention that this has been the case.

In fact two kids WERE murdered in Precita Park in Bernal Heights with a gun purchased at HBA
Further more High Bridge Arms was robbed and the ammo and none of the guns were ever recovered
The neighbors who oppose the zoning permit of HBA (altho many of us don’t believe guns have a place in society)
are not opposing it on a 2 amendment issue but zoning issue ..gun stores housed in wooden buildings and surrounded by residences constructed of wood – do no belong in a neighborhood. \
It does nothing to support the neighborhood, it doesn’t contribute the way a travel agency or a bodega or a dry cleaning store would.
It belongs in a commercial or industrial zone.

Ive lived in bernal heights long before any of my fellow liberal
    Zealots.

HBA contributes to crime 1% of what the 4 “Affordable Housing” a.k.a Projects do.

The NW Bernal Alliance needs to focus on gettig rid of the projects. When the Army St(now Cesar Chavez) projects were demolished In the 1990′s, and it took 5+ years to rebuild them….the crime rate plummeted.
