Golden Guns From Mexican Cartels

The American mainstream media has remained somewhat fixated on American guns that head south of the border, but the British press has picked up on the so-called “narco bling weaponry” that has been confiscated from Mexican drug lords. The Daily Mail noted several actual “golden guns.”
Housed in a private Mexican military museum (the Museo de los Enervantes) that is not open to the public are several items of notoriety reports The Daily Mail including diamond encrusted mobile phone, and half a dozen gold plated guns, with references to such colorful Mexican figures as “Pancho Villa.”
The question now is whether anyone will try to suggest that these guns were somehow bought in the United States and were part of the so-called “iron pipeline.”
