Chicago Protesters Want Stricter Gun Laws

WLS-TV in Chicago reported that “Father Michael Pfleger led a protest calling for tougher gun laws” in the Windy City. This comes as there has been increased gun-related violence in Chicago.

The problem with this protest, and the subsequent reporting, is that it fails to note that buying a gun in Chicago is almost impossible. Clearly criminals aren’t following the existing gun laws, so how would stricter gun laws help this situation?
