Chicago Mayor Calls for ALL Guns to Be Handed In

Was a statement made by Chicago Mayor Richard Daley taken out of context? Chicago Public Radio reports that the mayor is calling for an expansion of gun “turn-in program” and was quoted as saying:
“I wish the president would call upon people to turn in their guns. I wish the governor would do that. All elected officials, Democrat or Republican, and say, ‘Guns destroy people.’”
Does this mean all guns? It certainly sounds that way to us.
Mayor Daley’s disdain for the Constitution and our Rights and Freedoms is shameful. How can Chicago continue to re-elect this arrogant, freedom hating, un-American person? His latest arrogant and hateful Dayleyism to the reporter regarding Chicago’s failed firearm policy is part of a long string of stupid remarks. What a fool!
