Call to Close Gun Show Loophole Really a Call for Gun Prohibition

Liberal bloggers like to suggest that they’re not against guns, but the truth isn’t so cut and dry. While Judy Molland of Care2.com suggests that the so-called “gun show loophole” be closed, she never clearly explains exactly what she believes this loophole to be. Worse still, her biased post further suggests that criminals are the main attendees at gun shows and that the events are akin to Wild West venues where most sellers look the other way.

She even offers “public polls show a majority favoring the closing of the gun show loophole by a wide margin,” but never makes it clear who conducted these polls. In fact, the only time this number comes up is when liberal bloggers or anti-gun zealots offer these figures. Molland also can’t offer why 33 states have “no laws” to “require buyers at gun shows to undergo background checks.” Wouldn’t this suggest that voters in 33 states don’t favor closing this make believe “loophole?”
