Brady Bunch Even Calls Out Mass

This past weekend we reported on how the Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence released its findings on which states had the “best” and “worst” gun laws – and for the record what they find “worst” we find best, and so on. But it came as a surprise that the State of Massachusetts was labeled “not good enough. MassLive.com offered this take – one we felt was actually quite fair:

“An anti-gun violence advocacy group says Massachusetts gun laws are good but could be better, while some gun owners say state regulations are oppressive and could not get much worse.”

We point out this story for two reasons. First, because we want to draw attention to how ridiculous we think the Brady Bunch’s campaign is on the issue of gun rights. The group officially claims it wants reasonable gun laws, but these unreasonable people clearly think the only “reasonable” gun law is one where no one owns a gun. Second, this style of reporting should be the norm. It is clear to the point without the bias we’ve seen from the larger mainstream media.
