Who Guards the Guard’s Cars Take II

Last week we reported that a police officer in Florida has a submachine gun stolen from his car, and now there has been another incident involving a police car and a firearm. The Des Moines Register, along with other news organizations, is reporting that a three-year-old girl was injured when a young boy around 10 or so, pulled the trigger of a shotgun that was mounted inside the car. The police admit there wasn’t supposed to be a round in the chamber! Opps! This would be funny of course if no one was injured, and thank goodness the girl only suffered minor injuries.
But this brings up the question to the mainstream media, why isn’t this being discussed more? How are citizens supposed to feel safe when the police make Barney Fife look like a model police officer?
