South African President Thinks There are Too Many Guns

Let’s hope this argument is never used in America, but chances are that some shortsighted politico will think of it anyway. In South Africa the nation’s president says there are too many guns, reports the IOL News Agency.

“President Jacob Zuma has raised concerns about the current gun laws, saying there are too many guns in South Africa, SABC News reported on Sunday… Zuma said even people who had legal firearms could have them stolen by criminals.”

Criminals could steal many things, but Zuma’s argument is way off base. We can only hope that this issue never affects American gun owners.
