LA Times Feels Compelled to Offer Insight on Louisiana Tax Free Gun Sales

Why is The Los Angeles Times reporting about the Louisiana Second Amendment Sales Tax holiday weekend, and reporting about it from Atlanta? While the story mostly puts a positive spin on the sales, it does of course try to remind readers that firearms haven’t come under attack from the left:

“President Obama and the Democratic Congress have not made gun control a priority so far; in fact, the president signed a bill that allows licensed gun owners to carry loaded weapons into national parks and wildlife refuges.”

Of course the writer made sure to put in that almost hopeful sounding “so far” just for good measure.
