Gun Crime on the Rise in Ireland

The American mainstream media likes to report on how gun crime is so much lower in Europe, so it is no surprise that the MSM in the U.S. will bury its head in the sand when the facts show otherwise. Case in point, a new story from Ireland declares, “Dublin is gun murder capital of Europe.”

IrishCentral.com so far is the only “American” outlet to even pick up on this story. While gun crime is lower in Europe, the crime isn’t quite as non-existent as the American media likes to present, and in fact for a nation with extremely strict gun laws Ireland actually has alarmingly high gun crime. So this is something that the American anti-gun zealots should consider. In other words, banning guns or making them hard to own, doesn’t reduce the crime or violence. But don’t expect the MSM to report that… ever.
